Visited the Brooklyn Museum this past weekend to check out the 'Killer Heels: The Art of the High-Heeled Shoe'. The exhibition opened September 10th and will be up until February 15, 2015.
There are deadly sharp stilettos, architecturally inspired platforms and a number of works of shoe art. Designers include Christian Louboutin, Manolo Blahnik, Chanel, Aperlai, Vivienne Westwood and more...
This exhibition includes trippy short films and a full range of all the #KillerHeels you can imagine. Not sure if these were all made for walking but they make a great conversational piece displayed in a museum setting.
Killer Heels explores fashion’s most provocative accessory. As fashion statement, fetish object, instrument of power, and outlet of artistic expression.
